Described by one fan as “musical sunshine life-giving, happy music that makes me want to dance”, Massukos' seductive second album Bumping offers a unique and uplifting blend of traditional sounds from Mozambique. Released in Mozambique in April 2007 at a launch attended by the country's president Armando Guebuza, the album is garnering accolades from all the right people (see reviews) and was voted number 6 in the European World Music Charts (Sep 07).

Bumping is dedicated to the memory of Massukos' percussionist Americo Miguel who died in April 2006, aged 32 from a preventable and curable illness. He leaves his daughter and wife who has since given birth to his second child.
